Update!

Is She Walking?
The famous question, and the answer is... No, Aurora is not walking by herself yet. Our lovely little girl has taught us, she will walk when she is ready to. She is perfectly happy, with crawling to the couch or wall, standing up and walking along them. There have been a few times she has gotten the courage to let go for a few seconds; but then falls to her butt, and happily and quickly crawls away to her next destination.
A Great Christmas present from Aurora this year for Mommy and Daddy would be for her to take her first step on Christmas! :)


SNOW!
We received our first snow fall of the season!! It's beautiful! Although the sun has come out, and the snow is quickly melting, giving us a little more time to finish getting ready for winter.



CHRISTMAS!
The Trask house is ready for Christmas! It's a new adventure this Christmas, with the tree up, and curious little hands! All the decorations on the tree are out of reach!.... Well at least We think they are. She's always surprising us! :)




NO MORE EVA
We finally found a wonderful family to take our dog Eva!! It took us a few months, but we wanted to make sure we found her the right home! And we did! So now, it is just snuggles! As much as I miss Eva, I'm very happy to be back down to one dog.

JONATHAN and ME!
We are doing great, Jonathan has a new job at Alpine (a camp up here) as the Program Manager. And he LOVES his job! It's nice and relaxing for me to know that when my husband goes to work, he likes what he's doing! Jonathan is also a PCF (Paid Call Firefighter) at Running Springs, and of course, he loves that job too! :) As for me, I'm a proud Mommy to Aurora, and a VERY PROUD wife to my AMAZING husband!

Me, Jonathan, and my Dad did a 5 mile run in Huntington Beach! My dad got 8th in his Age group! Jonathan got 3rd in our Age group, and i got 5th. Our times were
DAD - 46min.
JONATHAN - 48min
SARAH - 49min.

My Day

Yesterday Me and Aurora made a trip to the social security office, to get me a new card. It was a very eventful time there. There was a security guard who was... Very "passionate" about his job! I got stuck sitting in between a very LARGE woman, and an "interesting" man. (it was the only seat available.. and I "had" to sit there) I sat there for about an hour and a half, with a 1 year old. I had plenty of toys for her to play with to keep her busy, but let me tell you she was a wiggle worm! She was such a wiggle worm, her diaper wasn't on properly any more. But I didn't know that! 2 numbers to be called until us. Oh I was so excited to get this done and over with, and get out of there! I made sure my bag, and paper work were ready to go. As I sat there with Aurora on my lap playing, I felt her getting really "WARM". My first thought was, "Oh i hope she's not getting sick!" and As I felt her leg, that warm feeling turned cold. I lifted her up, and had a HUGE wet spot on my pants. Yes, Aurora peed on me! There was nothing I could do, we were the next number. There wasn't enough time to change her. The lady who was helping me get a new card, was very nice, and did everything in less than 5 min. She must have been a Mom! :)

Fall!!!

It's fall!!! Here's our Big Girl!! She's still not walking on her own, but she walks as she's pushing things around the house!!! Just a few days ago, the High chair was by the front door, and the kitchen chair was in the bathroom... That's how she gets around the house, by pushing everything to her destination!

Some of our Summer FUN!!!

Our summer fun started out with Uncle Tim coming out to visit us in June! He was only out for a few days, but we enjoyed his company! I think Aurora's favorite moment with Uncle Tim was, when he let her eat Avocado with her hands while sitting with her Uncle... some how Tim didn't get any Avocado on him and he was wearing a white shirt.... but Mommy had plenty of Avocado on her!!! Funny how that works out!
Jonathan and Tim had a "man date" together, and went golfing. From what I hear, Jonathan is getting better.
And of course our traditional Disneyland trip with Tim was fun! No, Aurora didn't go with us. She had fun at Grandma and PaPa's house!

Aurora's first 4th of July in Huntington Beach!! We had lots of fun! although I don't have any pictures of her in her little American flag Bikini... or her sitting on PaPa's shoulders watching the parade... What's wrong with me? normally I have pictures of everything! At least we have a family picture in the middle of PCH!!!






Our first trip to Disneyland as a family, was a lot of fun! We went with Jeff, Jenny, and Julia! We went on the carousel, but that was it, it was to busy of a day to go on anything else. But that's okay, we have passes! We did watch the Electrical Parade!

We've been wanting to get an Elmo live, for a while now, but we wanted to wait, and let it be her birthday present... Well, daddy is a softy!! and she got it a little earlier than planned!!


Aurora loves to pick on our dog Eva! I think it's funny how she picks the BIG dog to bother, rather than the smaller one... but oh well! Eva is starting to get use to Aurora climbing all over her!




Trying to get laundry put away is always a fun task lately!




Aurora has very curious hands!! She love getting into EVERYTHING!!! And if we're missing a toy, all we have to do is check under the couches, refrigerator, and stove! She almost shoved my phone under the stove today, but i caught her just in time! Silly little girl!


Only a few more weeks, and our little Princess will be 1! We can't believe it! Time has gone by so fast! We love our little girl so much, and are very excited to see what new things she will be learning... and we'll be learning, this year!

Entertaining Aurora!

Someone likes blackberries!!!

Aurora LOVES blackberries, we discovered that tonight! It was very entertaining to watch her feed herself! It's good practice for when it's time for her 1st birthday cake!




So one morning after i fed Aurora I decided to make myself some toast... As I sat at the computer eating my toast, this is the look I was getting from my daughter....


She was happy after i gave her a piece... What was i thinking... not sharing with my daughter, how dare I!
