STORY TIME!!!
First let me say that the squirrels up here love to stand in front of my dog as she’s locked up on the deck and taunt her. Of course Snuggles goes CRAZY and won’t stop barking until they leave.
AND NOW MY STORY
So I’m standing in my living room enjoying my coffee at 2pm… we had a long night. Anyway. I’m enjoying my cup of coffee and the peace and quiet the mountain has to offer.
When all of a sudden our dog starts freaking out, running back and forth on the deck barking. So I open the door, thinking that me coming out will scare the stupid thing away. NOPE. All it does is run half way up the tree and sits there. Well I decided to take care of things myself… I grabbed the BB gun. Our BB gun has a scope on it. So it’s hard to miss on the first shot. I pumped it 3 times, opened the door, made sure no one was watching and took my shot. Don’t worry; I didn’t kill it. I just showed it who’s boss… right? I quickly put the BB gun back in the house, grabbed my coffee, walked back out side, and went back to enjoying my peace and quiet… Well the squirrel started making its stupid noise… I guess it would be a squirrel call. Well it finally ran away. 10 min. later it came back. But this time it brought a friend. Now there’s 2 of them. I would have shot it again. But that would have required me to really be out in the open. What can I say, I like to go sniper style! :+)
Now I’m sitting here thinking. I need a flannel shirt and a wooden rocking chair to put on the deck. So I can sit there sipping my coffee, while rocking back and forth with my BB gun lying in my lap. What do you think? Can you picture it?

November 2005 - The beginning of US!
January 2006 - I moved back to California!!!
July 2006 - Jonathan moved to Huntington Beach... we were within walking distance of eachother
January 2007 - We got engaged
May 2007 - We got married!
December 2007 - We bought a house...
...and found out that we were pregnant!
March 2008 - We got a dog "Snuggles" (Jonathan named her)
August 2008 - Our little Aurora is finally here

Our weekend
Our weekend felt like a vacation! We went down to Huntington Beach this weekend for Luke's first birthday. I can't believe he's one!!! It crazy to think how fast it went by with him... and it will probably feel even faster with Aurora. I'm so glad Luke and Aurora are close in age. It will be fun to see them grow up together!
My parents were very excited to have us down for the weekend! They were so happy to spend some time with Aurora! They spoiled her, i feel like we came back with a new wardrobe!
